Sourdough Chocolate chip Walnut Pancakes Cover Image

Dry Ingredients
 2 cups All purpose flour
 2 tsp Baking powder
 1 tsp Baking soda
 3 tbsp Sugar
 1 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
 4 tbsp Butter, melted
 ½ cup Sourdough Discard
 2.50 cups Whole Milk
 2 Eggs
 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
 4 tbsp Sour cream
Mixins
 ¾ cup Walnuts
 ½ cup Milk Chocolate Chips
Toppings
 Walnuts, chocolate chips and Whipped cream

Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

1. Flour
2. Baking Powder
3. Baking Soda
4. Sugar
5. Salt

Add all wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk together thoroughly.

1. Sourdough discard
2. Milk
3. eggs
4. Vanilla extract
5. Butter
6. Sour cream

Once the batter is made add crushed walnuts.

The size that you crush the walnuts to is totally a matter of individual preference.

Using a ladle pour batter onto a hot griddle and make pancakes that are 5-6 inches in diameter.

As soon as you pour batter for each pancake drop 8-12 chocolate chips on each pancake

Cook until bubbles form in the batter and then flip and cook for an additional minute or two.

Plating

Pile pancakes up in a stack and top them with more crushed walnuts and chocolate chips. Then Finish with whipped cream
